Remanufactured Mopar 5.7 HEMI Engine Overview
The MOPAR 5.7 HEMI 345 CI remanufactured engine for 2003–2008 Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep models comes fully rebuilt by United Engine, established since 1978. This long block is for vehicles equipped with MDS and without EGR. A $600 core deposit and VIN number are required prior to shipping. Your rebuildable core must be returned within 30 days to receive core credit. Shipping is one-way to a business with a loading dock or forklift within the lower 48 states.
Component Information & Long Block Details
This remanufactured engine includes 100% new pressed-in and pinned valve seats, redesigned pistons to help control combustion chamber temperatures, improved timing chain guides and tensioners, and an MLS multi-layer steel head gasket for added durability. The engine comes with a 1-year unlimited-mile warranty. The intake manifold must be replaced as per Chrysler requirements to avoid engine damage and warranty void.
Long blocks include cylinder heads attached and valve train installed. Valve covers, timing cover, intake manifold, and oil pan are not included. Each long block contains lifters, camshaft, timing chain or belt, timing gears, valve guides, three-angle cut seats, bearings, pistons, rings, rod bushings, gaskets, and oil pump.
Cleaning, Inspection & Warranty Information
Cylinder blocks, heads, crankshafts, and connecting rods undergo cleaning, shot-peening, magnafluxing, and thread preparation. Oil galleys are hand-brushed, and cylinders cleaned with solution. Heads receive three-angle seat cuts and are vacuum-tested for sealing. Crankshafts are ground and polished, and connecting rods honed.
Long blocks for passenger cars and light trucks up to 1/2-ton carry a 1-year unlimited-mile parts-only warranty. If a defect in workmanship or parts is confirmed, United Engine will repair or replace the unit. Core returns require all parts present with no cracks; crank must clear 20/20 and block .030 for refund. Three business days are required for inspection and deposit refund.

Passenger car and light truck up to 1/2 ton long blocks are covered for 1 years or unlimited miles (Parts Only no labor ). If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by united engine will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer.
