Engine Details & Core Requirements
UNITED ENGINE — SINCE 1978 — presents the remanufactured Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep 345 CI 5.7L (2003–2008) engine with MDS and without EGR. The engine price is $2995.00, plus a $900.00 core deposit. A valid VIN number is required before shipping. Your rebuildable core must be returned within 30 days to receive your core deposit credit. Shipping is one-way to a business location equipped with a loading dock or forklift within the lower 48 states.
Engine Upgrades & Reliability Features
This remanufactured engine includes multiple reliability improvements. It features 100% new pressed-in and pinned valve seats to prevent seat dropping. A newly engineered piston design eliminates oil sludge issues by stabilizing combustion temperature. Updated timing chain guides and tensioners resolve known timing failures. An MLS (multi-layer steel) head gasket helps prevent premature gasket failure caused by high heat. The engine includes a 1-year unlimited-mile warranty. The intake manifold must be replaced as per Chrysler requirements — failure to do so may cause severe damage and void the warranty.
Long Block Component Details
Each long block is built with cylinder heads installed and the full valve train in place. Valve covers, timing cover, intake manifold, and oil pan are not included. Long blocks include lifters, camshaft, timing chain/belt, gears, valve guides, three-angle cut seats, bearings, pistons, rings, rod bushings, gaskets, and an oil pump. All blocks, heads, crankshafts, and rods are cleaned, shot-peened, magnaflux-tested, and inspected. Oil galleys are hand-brushed, cylinders hand-cleaned, heads vacuum-tested, crankshafts polished, and connecting rods fully honed.

Passenger car and light truck up to 1/2 ton long blocks are covered for 1 years or unlimited miles (Parts Only no labor ). If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by united engine will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer. no refunds

CORE POLICY : You have 30 days from date of original purchase to return a matching core (rebuildable). Cores must be complete will all its parts including rods, bolts, and must not be cracked.
