Remanufactured Long Block Overview
This remanufactured 2.7L Dodge Chrysler long block is designed for model years 1998–2010 and requires a core deposit of 500.00. It comes with cylinder heads attached and the valve train installed. Valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan are not included. VIN number is required to place the order, and shipping is available to a business with a loading dock or forklift within the lower 48 states.
Internal Components & Rebuild Process
Each long block includes lifters, camshaft, timing chain or belt, timing gears, valve guides, three-angle cut seats, bearings, pistons, rings, rod bushings (if applicable), gaskets, and oil pump. All blocks, heads, crankshafts, and rods are cleaned, shot-peened, magnafluxed, and have tapped bolt holes. Oil galleys and cylinders are hand-cleaned, heads are vacuum-tested, crankshafts are ground and polished, and rods are honed.
OEM Standard Rebuild & Warranty
All remanufactured long blocks meet or exceed OEM specifications, including new pistons, rings, S.A. Gear timing set, and Melling oil pump. Cylinder heads are rebuilt and CNC surfaced, and crankshafts and camshafts are finished to OEM standards. Long blocks are covered for one year or unlimited miles if failure is due to defects from workmanship or installed parts.

Passenger car and light truck up to 1/2 ton . Long blocks are covered for 1 years or unlimited miles. If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by UNITED ENGINE will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer.
