Complete Remanufactured Long Block Overview

The Nissan Z24/Z24i Rebuilt Engine (1983–1990) is a fully remanufactured long block designed to deliver strong performance and long-term reliability. Each unit comes with the cylinder head attached and the valve train fully installed, ensuring smooth assembly and compatibility with CNG and propane fuel setups. While essential components such as valve covers, timing cover, intake manifold and oil pan are not included, the long block arrives with all critical internal hardware professionally installed.

Professional Cleaning & Precision Machining

Every long block undergoes an extensive cleaning and inspection process to ensure OEM-level durability. All cylinder blocks, heads, crankshafts and connecting rods are cleaned, shot-peened and magnaflux-tested for cracks. Bolt holes are re-tapped, oil galleys are hand-brushed and cylinders are washed thoroughly with cleaning solutions. Cylinder heads receive precision three-angle valve seat cutting and are vacuum-tested for sealing accuracy. Crankshafts are ground and polished, and connecting rods are honed to exact tolerances.

New NPR pistons and rings, SA Gear timing set, Melling lifters and Melling oil pump ensure exceptional internal stability. Passenger car and light truck up to 1/2 ton . Long blocks are covered for 1 years or unlimited miles. If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by UNITED ENGINE  will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer.
