High-Quality Engine Remanufacturing Process
Since 1978, the company has been dedicated to rebuilding quality engines using a highly detailed remanufacturing process. The Honda Civic 1996–2000 D16Y7 1.6 NON-VTEC long block undergoes extensive cleaning, shot peening, and magnaflux inspections to ensure the structural integrity of every major component. Cylinder heads are rebuilt with three-angle cut seats and vacuum-checked after assembly to guarantee accurate valve seating. All oil galleys are hand-brushed, bolt holes are tapped, and cylinders are thoroughly cleaned to prepare the long block to meet or exceed OEM standards.
Complete Internal Build and OEM-Grade Component Replacement
Each remanufactured long block comes with the cylinder head and valve train installed, including lifters, camshaft, timing chain or belt, timing gears, valve guides, bearings, pistons, piston rings, rod bushings when applicable, gaskets, and an oil pump. Crankshafts are ground and polished, connecting rods are honed, blocks are bored and cylinder walls honed, and all heads are CNC surfaced. OEM-grade components such as new SBI valves, SBI valve springs and keepers, NPR pistons and rings, S.A. Gear timing gears and chain, and a new ITM oil pump with ITM or Evergreen gaskets are used in every build. The long block is backed by a 1-year unlimited-mileage parts-only warranty for defects in workmanship or materials.

SUMMARY OF OUR ENGINE LIMITED WARRANTY:
Passenger car and light truck long blocks are covered for 1 years or unlimited miles (Parts Only). If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by ENGINE SUPPERSTORE will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer.
