Engine Overview
This remanufactured Dodge Jeep Chrysler 4.7 287 CI V8 SOHC engine (1999–2006) features a 32-tooth reluctor ring on the crank and includes a required core deposit of 700.00. Your rebuildable core must be returned within 30 days for core credit. Shipping is one way to a business with a loading dock or forklift within the lower 48 only.
Long Block Build Details
Each long block comes with cylinder heads attached and the valve train installed, excluding valve covers, timing cover, intake manifold and oil pan. The assembly includes lifters, camshaft, timing chain or belt, timing gears, valve guides, three-angle cut seats, bearings, pistons, rings, rod bushings, gaskets and oil pump. All blocks, heads, crankshafts and rods are cleaned, shot-peened, magnafluxed, and inspected with all oil galleys hand-brushed. Crankshafts are ground and polished, heads are vacuum-checked and connecting rods are honed.
OEM-Level Component Standards
These remanufactured engines meet or exceed OEM specifications, built with new SIVOILITE pistons, HASTINGS rings, SA Gear timing gears and chain, Melling oil pump and Victor/Rock/Big 3 gasket set. Cylinder heads are rebuilt with three-angle cut seats and CNC-surfaced. Blocks are bored, honed, and crankshafts and camshafts are finished to OEM standards. Connecting rods are resized to OEM specifications.

If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by united engine will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer.no refunds
